Kimberly Bentley is the Brickell Area District Director for Commissioner Ken "Selfie Boy" Russell.  How she got the job has always been a mystery, but the speculation is that she was recruited by Eleazar Melendez as one of the band of clueless Doe-Eyed Millennials that Russell seems so proud of.

According to folks who've spent time with her, Bentley has always seemed to put out an unsettling vibe, and last Thursday night, she showed up at the the upscale restaurant and bar, Brassrie Brickell Key, where she had on previous occasions "acted inappropriately" with other customers, and after having her customary one drink, proceeded to aggravate the people around her until the bartender went over to manager Icaro Filgueiras, who in turn asked her to leave.

Instead of leaving, Filgerias says that Bentley walked over to the end of the bar where he was sitting and talking with a regular customer and proceed to try and kick him.

When Filgerias tried to restrain her from kicking him, she hauled off and attempted to punch him. Instead, she punched the customer in the mouth, bloodying his lip.

At that point  the cops were called, she was arrested, and hauled off to the Turner Gilford Knight County Jail before being bonded out the next morning.

Although she had previously been told not to come back, Bentley continued on an irregular basis to show up at Brasserie, and in addition, an unverified rumor has it that she had been barred from several Brickel area bars and restaurant for her behavior. On this night, she was accompanied by a male driving a City of Miami car with the license tag 225071.

This raises the question of who was that individual, and what were they doing driving around town at night in a city car.

These questions were put to the Commissioner, along with a request for a comment about the arrest of one of his top aides, but he chose not to respond.

I guess he was out doing what he does best - taking a selfie.
