Given that I'm the one who first broke the story about Marcia Del Rey and her her family's ties to the sex motel business, along with a few other seamy and disturbing relationships that you normally don't want to see in the biography of a potential judge, I'm more than happy to be on the record as not being a fan of photoshopped Goldilocks getting elected as a Circuit Court Judge in Miami-Dade County.

At the same time you didn't have to be a rocket scientist to realize that the lawsuit that Judge Jason Block filed against De Rey in an effort to block her from the ballot days before the election was just out and out crap, and if nothing else, provided prima facie evidence that Bloch is either stupider than a rock, or as gullible as any country rube coming into town on a Saturday night and getting fleeced by some slick talking carny at the town carnival because only a gullible rube would have allowed himself to get talked into filing such a lawsuit.

If you're forced to go before a judge, you kinda expect - or at least hope - that maybe the judge knows the law and is capable of making a reasonably informed decision on your case, but after this incident, I'd be more than leary about someone like Bloch, who in agreeing to go along with this lawsuit I believe demonstrated a inexplicable willingness to abuse the same justice system he's taken an oath to uphold.

HERE ARE THE OPINIONS ISSUED BY JUDGE BAGLEY IN THIS CASE
