You can say a lot about the Regalado clan - and I have - but one thing that you can never say enough about is how the children of Tomas Regalado have managed over the years to stay alive financially by sizable payments made to them first by Daddy's campaigns, and more recently by Raquelita's campaigns.

Now it looks like Tommy might join the family enterprise of sharing the wealth by running for City Commissioner in District 3, and Raquelita, fresh off of her resounding loss to Carlos Gimenez is supposedly weighing her options to run for Mayor of Miami, because if there's nothing that the City of Miami needs less of is another Regalado - and one dumber and nastier than her Daddy - as the next Mayor of Miami.

Last August, as part of my series of Raquelita's Homestead Exemption Fraud series, I posted a financial breakdown showing the way that the children - including Tommy's wife - cashed in over the years to the tune of $207,702.23, from Tomas' and Raquelita's campaigns.  And that was before I was able to run down another $49,931.40 that Raquelita had "paid" to her brother Jose for video work.

Even that didn't cover all the money he collected because her campaign went on another 3 months after I did that story.

Here's a copy of that financial breakdown in case you missed it the first time around.

So now, while Daddy sits on the sidelines this time trying to use his last year in office to line up some sweetheart deals to take him into retirement, the responsibility of looting campaign finances is falling on Tommy and Raquelita, and even though Raquelita might not be able to depend on those hundreds of thousands of dollars that she collected from Norman Braman to share with her baby brother this time out - Norman has found Francis Suarez, another politician ready to sell his ass to everyone with a fistful of dollars - there's probably nothing to stop Tommy from showing up at Norman's door with his hand out, because in order to loot campaign funds, you first need some loot, and Braman has shown that he's ready and willing to keep buying politicians on the cheap, because

It's Miami, Bitches!
