A MAJOR STEP FORWARD
CITY CLERK TODD HANNON, BRINGS THE CITY OF MIAMI ONE STEP CLOSER TO BEING PART OF THE 21ST CENTURY. TO BAD HE CAN'T BE CLONED.
She also did the same thing in 2013, and reported that her net worth had slightly declined to $49,450.
OCTOBER 12, 2016
I just happened to walk into the Clerk's office a couple days before this press release was issued and had an opportunity to get an overview explanation by Todd, and I think that when the system if finally up and running, it's going to make a big, and positive change for a lot of people looking to get information about meetings, agenda and especially all of the backup documents that accompany the various agenda items.
Todd has been working for several years to try and get the functions of his office set up in a way that would better provide information to citizens, and even trouble makers like me, and it's too bad that he can't be designated to take on the task of dealing with doing the same thing for other city departments.
I know that I have the Smoochie Awards for people who screw over the taxpayers, but I'm open to suggestions as to what to name an award for people like Todd who do some good for the taxpayers.
Any ideas?
I seldom have positive things to say about the goings on at City Hall, and even less frequently do I ever use a city press release for anything other than to illustrate that some egregious act has taken place that is being covered up.
Last week, just before the storm, the city issued a press release about something that they can be rightfully be proud of, thanks to the efforts of Todd Hannon, the City Clerk.
